Every time we visit my parents upstate NY the girls look forward to visiting this little family-owned amusement park, Hoffman’s Playland. This little amusement park opened in 1952 with 2 rides and now has 19 rides. There is no admission, you pay for rides with tickets, and a book of 25 tickets costs $29. I really love this little amusement park because it is very very family-friendly and it reminds me of a simpler life. It’s small and fun and you don’t have to stand in a line. The girls spend an hour at the amusement park and then we go and get soft-serve ice cream. I don’t remember coming here as a child but my parent’s were very strict growing up. They have definitely loosed up with their grandchildren because they always want to take the girls when they visit.
Both girls love to ride the carousel and my mom is the only one who can ride it ten times without getting sick.
This is the first year my Baby could enjoy the rides. She had a great time with her sister by her side. The cutest thing is she actually thought she was steering the rides. The girls loved riding the boat and ringing the bell.
They rode the magic bus countless times. There was a horn they were obsessed with pushing.
Cheers to a simpler life,
Chrissy xo
